I have a BA degree in Elementary Education with specializations in Math and Language Arts from Winona State University (MN). When Skip asked if I'd be interested in joining the AZFITCO coaching staff in 2019, I jumped at the chance. I obtained my Personal Training certification and the rest is history. I'm probably best known for being the coach who encourages people 'scale up'. I blame that nagging voice in my head that says, "I bet I can do that." It never lets up, and neither do I.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in education and several years of experience in group fitness. I am an Arizona native and has been a teacher for over 10 years. My favorite exercises are pullups, deadlifts, and plyometrics. Outside of the gym, I enjoy playing guitar and discovering new places to enjoy a cheat meal with my family.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education, and am a certified Personal Trainer and volleyball coach. I love learning new things and enjoy watching others succeed. I try to always push myself and encourage others to do the same. I am obnoxiously passionate about volleyball, love working out and doing competitive things. Gardening is also great, but I really like to play!
I am from the Pacific Northwest where I enjoyed an active lifestyle doing things like running and hiking. I moved to Arizona in 2016 and joined AZFITCO where I discovered a whole new world of getting in shape and staying healthy. AZFITCO not only encourages a daily workout but also healthy eating habits and plenty of extra curricular activities which has lead to more running, hiking and recently mountain biking. My favorite day at the gym ends in ‘Y’.
